ABOUT THE DESIGN

ABOUT THE KIT

Nicknamed the "Cherry Blossom," this one-manned rocket-powered suicide bomb was one of the many "kamikaze" aircraft developed by a desperate Japan during the final months of WWII.  Dropped by a larger aircraft, the Baka, loaded with high-explosives, would approach its target -- usually an American warship -- in a steep high-speed dive, making the aircraft nearly impossible to intercept.

This tiny kit was packaged in a twin set with an unmanned V-1 "Buzz Bomb" under the name "2 Terror Attackers." (The V-1 has since been lost.)

This kit was built from  an original issue.
