The TK.5 was an experimental monoplane prototype developed by the De Havilland aircraft company of Great Britain in the late 1930s. Powered by a single rear-mounted D. H. Gipsy Major engine, the canard-style aircraft had an unusual butterfly-like main wing. Unfortunately, the plane proved to be an utter failure; it never even got off the ground. The project was cancelled in 1939. |
This all-resin model from Dujin of France was released in 2004. As the original TK.5 was unmarked, the kit did not contain decals. This model was built from an original issue. |
