Valkyrie on "Black Ops" Mission

ABOUT THE DESIGN

ABOUT THE KIT

Featured briefly in BSG's third season episode "Hero," the Valkyrie was William Adama's command prior to being "retired" to the Battlestar Galactica.  Although not much is known about the "Valk," it is believed she is significantly smaller than the "Galactica," built primarily for tactical "black ops" missions.  The Valkyrie's fate is not known, although it is assumed she was destroyed with the bulk of the Colonial fleet during the Cylon surprise attack.

This 1:3700 Valkyrie kit was commissioned by BamBam Productions in 2008.  The master was created by Alfred Wong, who had also done the 1:3700 Pegasus.

This kit is now available for sale via the Fantastic Plastic Virtual Museum Store.
