ABOUT THE DESIGN |
ABOUT THE KIT |
|
Seen only briefly during a deep space rendezvous sequence, the Vulcan Warp Shuttle was memorable for being the first Vulcan spacecraft ever depicted in a "Star Trek" screen story. Its highly angular design and its forward-extending warp nacelles gave the craft a look that was decidedly distinct from the human-influenced Federation vessels seen up to that point. |
Released in conjunction with 1979's "Star Trek - The Motion Picture," the Vulcan shuttle was re-released in the late 1980s despite the fact that it failed to appear in any of the subsequent "Star Trek" films. This model is an original issue. |
