ABOUT THE DESIGN

ABOUT THE KIT

Boba Fett’s “Slave One” appeared for only a few seconds at the tail end of “The Empire Strikes Back,” but its unique lines and unexpected transition from a prone to an upright position made it instantly memorable. The craft would later play a major role in “Star Wars – Episode II: Attack of the Clones” as the primary vehicle of Boba’s father, Jango Fett.

MPC’s Slave One was designed to be displayed in its upright flight position.  It featured moveable steering vanes and a tiny Boba Fett figure in its cockpit.

First released in 1982, the kit was long off the market until it was re-released by AMT/Ertl in 1995 and again in 2005, each time with new box art.

This model was built from an original MPC issue.
