ABOUT THE DESIGN

ABOUT THE KIT

Also known as the “Theater Scout Bug-Eye,” the Quel-Qualle was an automated reconnaissance vehicle designed to operate both on land and in the air.  The craft carried a sophisticated array of sensors which were deployed externally for maximum efficiency.

One of numerous “Macross” models that were produced in Japan during the 1980s, the Quel-Qualle was available in the U.S. only through importers and distributors of Asian model kits.

This model was built from an original issue.
