Squat and angular, the "Narcissus" was the space tug "Nostromo's" lifeboat, capable of taking the entire seven-person crew to safety in case of catastrophe (such as alien infestation).  The craft was designed by celebrated sci-fi artist Ron Cobb.

Produced by the UK's Halcyon company, the Narcissus was an excellent reproduction of the motion picture production miniature and fit together extremely nicely.  Expensive for its side -- it originally retailed for about $40 in the early 1990s -- it nonetheless made an excellent display piece.
