ABOUT THE DESIGN

ABOUT THE KIT

Use by the rebellious Maquis to harass Cardassian ships and colonies before disappearing in the dreaded Badlands, this vessel was actually a stolen Federation Peregrine-class fighter.

The design itself is not all that interesting and, in fact, looks like it could have come from any number of 1980's-1990's-era sci-fi shows. (There's certainly nothing distinctively "Federation" about it.)  Created for a one-time appearance on the "Voyager" TV series, the Peregrine later appeared on "DS9" during that show's massive Dominion War battle sequences.

One of Revell/Monogram's initial "Voyager" models, the Maquis ship was a fairly simple build.  Because the ship's origins were supposed to be in Starfleet, here it's decorated as an operational Peregrine fighter, complete with Starfleet pennant and registration number.

This model was built from an original issue.
