Actually, it's been done for a while. I waited until I got the new camera to send images to you. (It's a Canon PowerShot S2 IS; works great, especially for someone like me who only knows enough about cameras to be dangerous!)

I think I just didn't clean off the mold release enough the first time. I ended up taking the paint off with Lestoil, and reprimed it with Duplicolor primer. Then I decided to try Bare-Metal Foil for the first time on a larger project. I learned some things, but it didn't turn out too bad.

I also superglued some brass rods onto the solar panels for strength. I didn't trust myself with the thin resin. I also overcoated the decal sheet with Testor's Glosscote first and then applied the solar panels one at a time to get them to conform to the rod.

You can see the "Boeing" logo on the service module - I made those years ago for something else and thought they would be appropriate.
Anyway, once I got the paint issue fixed I had no problems. Great kit...thanks for going to all the work to produce it, and all the others!
