ABOUT MASTERPIECE MODELS' "GIANT CLASSICS"

Masterpiece Models of Vancouver, Washington, has been casting selected kits for Fantastic Plastic Models since 2008.

Recently, they offered us the opportunity to retail a pair of gigantic resin kits we're calling "Giant Classics."

The 1:48 "Luna" from Destination Moon was patterned by Masterpiece Models from a casting taken off the original studio miniature.

The model is an exact to-scale replica of the miniature used in the George Pal 1950 classic motion picture!

The 1:24 TWA Moonliner was patterned by Scott Alexander of Atomic Models.

No longer sold by Scott, it is now available exclusively through Masterpiece Models and Fantastic Plastic.

Both kits are expertly cast, easy to build and stand more than three feet high when assembled!

Complete instructions and Microscale decals are included as appropriate.

These kits are not for beginners.  They're for serious sci-fi modeling enthusiasts who are looking to set their collection apart from the crowd.

  • Shipping charges will be added to your total based on the weight of the kit(s) (plus box) and the shipping destination.  California State residents also pay an $8.75% sales tax.
  • Order and pay for your purchase with a credit card using  PayPal.

 
  • If your combined shipping charge significantly exceeds the actual postage, Fantastic Plastic will send you a refund for the overage.
  • Once payments have been received, purchases will be shipped via First Class or Priority Mail within 48 hours, depending on product availability.
  • If any of the kits you ordered are not currently in stock, you will be notified of the delay by email and permitted to request a full refund if desired.
