Bearing an uncanny resemblance to the aerial hunter-killer in James Cameron's previous film, "The Terminator," the Colonial Marine Drop Ship nonetheless looked more than ready to provide both transportation and armed support for a platoon of space-age fighting men (and women).  Equipped with missiles and machine guns, the VTOL craft was a formidable .

Halcyon's "Drop Ship" was another excellent miniature from this U.K.-based specialty company.  The craft could be built with its weapons array in either flight position (shown) or extended for combat.   The kit came with an extensive decal sheet.

This model was built from an original issue.
