| The "Parasit" was a flying bomb carried in groups of eight aboard Hydra's gigantic Flying Wing. Designed by Daniel Simon for Marvel Comic's 2011's "Captain America: The First Avenger," the Parasit employed several experimental concepts actually explored by German aircraft companies during World War II, including ramjet-driven propellers (Focke Wulf) and a detachable nose-bomb (Sombold). In the case of the Parasit, the bomb was atomic. |
